This piece was done for a young woman who had written a Love Sonnet for her partner. He has a Scandanavian Heritage, and is very fond of the Art and Mythology of the Norse/Viking Era. To respect their privacy, the text has been intentionally made illegible.
The top image is as the original appeared, the Gold Leaf not being visible in the scanned image. The version at the bottom is a variation done for a secondary print.
I used this manuscript as a source for several designs I placed on items in my store, a link to which can be found on the "Availability" page.
